Expert BMW DPF cleaning
The diesel particulate filter on your BMW — fitted with the N47/N57 diesel engine — captures soot from the exhaust and burns it off during regeneration. BMW diesels commonly log DPF and pressure-sensor faults that a thorough clean resolves. When the filter blocks, you'll often see a warning light, lose power, use more fuel, or drop into limp mode.
Rather than replacing an expensive factory part, our off-car cleaning process removes the trapped soot and ash and restores your BMW DPF to near-original flow — for a fraction of the cost.
Common signs on your BMW
BMW N47 and N57 diesels are known for accurate onboard diagnostics, so a blocked filter usually announces itself early with a dash warning — but ignoring it for even a few weeks of city driving lets ash harden inside the substrate.
A blocked filter on this engine family can trigger fault codes such as P2002, P244A — both indicate the DPF needs attention rather than a new part.
