Expert Chevrolet DPF cleaning
The diesel particulate filter on your Chevrolet — fitted with the Duramax diesel engine — captures soot from the exhaust and burns it off during regeneration. Chevrolet diesel utes used for towing build up soot quickly in stop-start work. When the filter blocks, you'll often see a warning light, lose power, use more fuel, or drop into limp mode.
Rather than replacing an expensive factory part, our off-car cleaning process removes the trapped soot and ash and restores your Chevrolet DPF to near-original flow — for a fraction of the cost.
Common signs on your Chevrolet
The Duramax-powered Colorado is a genuine workhorse, and towing or heavy loads at low RPM push far more soot into the filter than a normal commute — exactly the conditions that overwhelm passive regeneration.
A blocked filter on this engine family can trigger fault codes such as P242F, P2463 — both indicate the DPF needs attention rather than a new part.
