Expert Mazda DPF cleaning
The diesel particulate filter on your Mazda — fitted with the Skyactiv-D diesel engine — captures soot from the exhaust and burns it off during regeneration. Mazda Skyactiv-D engines often log DPF and oil-dilution issues from city driving. When the filter blocks, you'll often see a warning light, lose power, use more fuel, or drop into limp mode.
Rather than replacing an expensive factory part, our off-car cleaning process removes the trapped soot and ash and restores your Mazda DPF to near-original flow — for a fraction of the cost.
Common signs on your Mazda
Mazda's Skyactiv-D engines run unusually low compression for a diesel, which keeps them efficient but means regeneration temperatures take longer to reach in stop-start traffic — a common reason CX-5 and BT-50 owners see the warning light appear.
A blocked filter on this engine family can trigger fault codes such as P2002, P0299 — both indicate the DPF needs attention rather than a new part.
